You are one who cares so deeply about their workplace that you will surrender yourself completely to keep it up and running. However, there are some workers who are just lazy and inconsiderate, which leads to the downfall of your company’s overall rate of production.

These derelict individuals are what undermine the overall approvable quality of an industry and organization. This affects the targeted performance that is desired of your team and will then affect the business as a whole.

As such your group assignments and dissertation writing (Read more about dissertation point) will flounder because of the lackadaisical attitude from such people. Here are some of the best ways to tackle with such incompetent workers:

1.       Deal it with patience

If you feel that this laidback individual is not that much of a big deal to your work, then you can shake this off without caring much at all. See that their obnoxious attitude does not rub off on your work and that it doesn’t exceed as much as it should.

However, if you find that you are acting as cover for the aforementioned individual’s work, it could serve as a primary indicator for you to think about your moral standards.

2.       Confront them directly

When things get too messy and out of hand, it would be time to take matters seriously and confront your lazy-coworker face to face. In some situations, these bothersome people would even notice your existence or even acknowledge the sound of your voice.

However, if you approach them with a calm and generous demeanor, they could be very welcoming of your complaints. Highlight the many unacceptable traits and behaviors of that worker and how it is impacting the company as a result.

You must explain to them that their non-contributive ways account for the loss the company’s quality driven services and outlook.

3.       Work out something that pleases them

When you have managed to penetrate their mind and establish a connection, try to work out on ways that they can be more giving to the company in their own way.

If you feel that this was all a misunderstanding and just needed to be resolved in a less hostile manner, then that lazy person would finally make themselves useful.

4.       Tell your manager about this

Just in case the previous point failed to make its mark, you can take this matter straight to your boss’s office. The manager knows better than to have some uninterested employee working in their company.

Explain your situation clearly and specifically as to how your lazy colleague is not taking their post seriously and that it is affecting yours and every other peer’s work as a result. Due to such incompetence, you and the other workers have to work overtime and move up their schedule.

5.       Do not cover up for someone else’s job

On rare occasions it may seem passionate and endearing for you to cover up for another peer’s work, but not when it’s done on a regular basis. That means that the person merely doesn’t care about physically performing their job and would rather have others to back them up.

You are a person of your right and as such you are bound by the principles of your own position. That being said, should your lazy co-worker ‘delegate’ their work on to you, simply refuse them without going any further.

6.       Don’t let their attitude affect yours

Above all, you must maintain your piece of mind and ensure that the rambunctious and stubborn attitude of your co-workers does not adversely affect you in return.

You may be working extra hours due to them and it is unethical of them to do so, but try to refrain from following getting angry or upset. You are the one pulling the most weights and very soon, that person’s disappointing habits will have them evicted of their position.
