1.      Professional mourner

This is a job that has been spoofed on many comedy shows and Sunday evening cartoons. So much so that many people assume this is a fictional job. It isn't. Professional mourners are hired by funeral homes who are in the business of creating 'boutique' funeral experiences for the friends and family of loved ones.

2.      Sommelier

A sommelier or wine steward usually works in fine dining establishments. They speak to customers and advise them on which wines will pair best with the food they will be eating. They also work with caterers and as independent consultants. When they aren't busy in restaurants or with events, sommeliers travel to various wineries to taste wines and make purchases on behalf of their employers or customers.

3.      Professional Bridesmaid

Sorry, you don't get to wear a dress and catch a bouquet if you take on this job. Professional bridesmaids work as personal assistants to the bride and her wedding party. This means running errands, helping the bride get dressed, and dealing with any last minute crises. The going rate varies depending on the size and complexity of the wedding. You could earn anywhere from 300 to 2000 dollars per event.

4.      Horse Exerciser

In the horse racing industry, horses must be kept in tip top shape. This means they must be ridden every day. The jockeys that you see riding the horses on race day rarely have time to take on this task themselves. So, the job goes to the horse exerciser. The horse exerciser puts the horse through its daily exercises ensuring that it is ready to go for the next race.

5.      Snake Venom Extractor

Snake venom is in high demand. Hospitals and medical laboratories use the venom to create anti-venom. This is used to treat snake bite victims. There are also other uses for this product. Snake milkers handle snakes in captivity, extract their venom by inciting them to bite down on glass containers and then capturing the venom. This is an extremely dangerous job, but snake venom sells at up to 1000 dollars per gram.

6.      Line Stander

Did you wait in line for hours during the latest iPhone release? Are you always in line at midnight when your local video game store does a midnight release? If you have the patience to wait in line, especially at inconvenient hours of the day, you could make a fairly decent living as a line stander. Line standers wait in line for other people who do not have the time or inclination to do so themselves. Also, this job doesn't require any language and writing skills. It isn't the most exciting job, however if you live in a major city, you can make a fairly decent living.
