5 Tips for Growing out Bangs
A lot of people are choosing to get hair
extensions to get the hairstyle that they’ve always dreamed of. Hair extensions
can make your hair look fuller, longer, and healthier. One thing that Remi
extensions cannot do for you, however, is get rid of your bangs. If you’ve ever
tried or are currently trying to grow out fringe, you know that this can be
somewhat of a pain. Here are some tips to help your bangs get caught up to the
rest of your hair.
1. Part in the Middle
Consider switching your hair to a middle
part for the time being. You can do this and look great if your fringe is long
enough. It will look more intentional and stylish if you wait until your bangs
are hitting your cheeks.
2. Sweep to the Side
Even short bangs can be swept to the side
for a classy Audrey Hepburn look. You may have to use a high-quality hairspray
at first to get your short fringe to stay put, but sweeping them to the side is
stylish while keeping hair out of your face.
3. Bobby Pins Are Your Friend
Bobby pins are going to be the best tool
that you have when you're growing out your bangs. You’ll be able to tuck your
bangs into your hairstyle with them, and they can hold your hair in a braid if
you choose to incorporate your fringe into a braid around your head. There may
be a couple weeks when you first start out growing out your bangs that having a
single bobby pin on the side can keep growing bangs out of your face.
4. Get a New Haircut
If you’re growing out your bangs while
growing your hair long at the same time, getting a haircut can sting a little.
However, cutting your hair to blend your fringe in with your hair will make
your hairstyle look more intentional.
5. Have Patience
As with many other things in your life,
sometimes having patience is your best bet. Even the most stubborn or damaged
hair grows. Realize that it may take from 3 to 4 months to grow out your bangs
and in the meantime, finding a way to style your hair during the process is the
best thing you can do.
To achieve the ideal look with your hair,
getting Remi extensions may be
the solution. With extensions, your hair has many more possibilities. It will
be longer, fuller, and shinier. However, if bangs are not part of the perfect
style you’re going for, these tips will help you grow them out.
