Having a stovetop kettle in your kitchen helps you to boil water whether for tea or other requirements quicker. The best stovetop tea kettle can be easily operated by all ages safely without causing harm to them. When with hot water kettle will be hot any user must be able to hold them with ease. The stove is not programmed to switch off when water boils you will need a whistle to notify you. In this blog, we are going to share 5 things you must consider when buying a Kitchenaid stovetop.

1.  Heat Resistant Handles

Kitchenaid stovetop kettles must be equipped with heat resistant material on all the handles to protect your hands from the heat. The material can be found on the handle, the whistle and on the filling lid. You will need to choose the handle anyone can hold with a comfortable grip.

2. Whistle

Unlike boiling water in a pot, a good kettle stovetop must have a whistle which notifies you that water has reached the boiling point. The whistle is a pressure release valve which is designed to make a sound when steam passes through. The whistle must tightly close to ensure extra safety to the user and other people around. When moving your kettle around the kitchen, hot water will not spill out through the whistle if properly closed.

3. Base

To boil water much quicker, Kitchenaid stovetops with a flat base absorb heat at a more responsive rate. Boiling water normally takes up to 5 minutes tops depending on your stove type. Stovetop kettles are more balanced with the flat base they will not tip sideways when mistakenly pushed.

4. Material

For kettle stove tops to heat water at a quicker rate, they must be made with material that is a good heat conductor like aluminum. When buying you must weigh the kettles and pick a lighter one so that when you fill it with water it is not too heavy.

5. Kettle Size

When buying your kettle avoid buying one that is very big or smaller for your household keep in mind space in your kitchen. If you will be having guests over its best that you go for the bigger one.

Closing up

The filling lid must tightly close so that there will be no water spillages. The heat source is direct from the base of the pot, it does not have an element which may corrode over time.  Kitchenaid stove tops normally come with a 5-year warranty which is a very long time, with usage frequency, not an issue. Kettle stove tops have impressive designs that give your kitchen a new look.
