Wedding planning involves serious decisions like whom to invite, what kind of food to prepare, what dresses to buy, and so on. It is undoubtedly a joyful event of life but with so many serious decisions to deal with, it in fact becomes the most stressful event in our lives. We even have to make a list of all the decors that are needed including the wedding flowers.

After all, flowers give the most decorative touch to any wedding. From table displays at reception to bridal bouquets, it’s all about the floral arrangement setting the style. Here let us discuss about a few points which we need to keep in your mind before buying your d-day flowers.

Size of the party: The number of guests invited and the arrangements you have made for the party will determine the amount you will need to spend on wedding flowers. If your invitees are not many and it’s only your closest friend and family, then you can have a small budget for flowers.

Budget for floral arrangement: If you have a small budget, there is no need for you to feel ashamed. You can discuss with the florist about your budget and take suggestions from them regarding the flowers that will match with your budget yet provide a finishing touch to your d-day.

Location of the ceremony: Before selecting the location for your ceremony, ensure to check the parameters for the floral arrangements. Also make sure whether your florist will be able to reach there on time for setting up your wedding flowers.

Season: All flowers are not available in season. Flowers blossom according to specific seasons. So, if you want to save your money on floral arrangements, go for flowers which are in season and will be available during the wedding. If you have fondness for some flowers which are not available in that season, then go for silk arrangements.

If you getting married during the summers and if it’s an outdoor wedding, then choose flowers like roses, daisies, carnations, lilies and more. Don’t go for irises and tulips that have chances to wilt in summers.

Fragrance: Flowers that have sweet aroma enhance mood. However, sometimes it may also be overpowering. In that case, it would be best if you ask your florist to suggest you the wedding flowers that have soft fragrances.
