China
After vehicle sales jumped a whopping 46 percent over 2008, China was ranked the world’s biggest car market in 2009. After that, in 2010, this country’s auto sales escalated another 32 percent, making China become the leading over the U.S. The country’s largest auto market, Beijing has also introduced limits on car registrations, raising fears the auto market may slow further.
