The maintenance of crystallized glass tiles is simple. However, that does not mean they can be cleaned with just any cleaning method or solution. The following subsection enunciate some of the best practices for the maintenance of crystallized glass tiles –
Water and Soap
Cleaning with soapy water and then rinsing with fresh clean water – is the best way to maintain the shine and look of your crystallized glass tiles.
For this, you could use any detergent or soap – such detergent powder or liquid detergent. Though, you will need to keep the ratio or amount of detergent low to avoid excessive slippery while cleaning and getting injured.
It is advisable to allow the floors and walls to dry completely before use. Rub with a dry cotton cloth piece to shine up the tile surface.
Removing the Scratch
Technically, it is hard for crystallized glass surface to get scratches. However, with use and abuse, there are such certainties.
To remove scratches off your glass floor or wall surface, you can go with the toothpaste therapy. Take a little amount of any toothpaste on a paper towel. Apply it on the scratched area. Rub it gently until it dries out. Now rub with a dry cotton cloth piece.
Repeat this exercise as needed. And you shall see scratches have disappeared.
To make sure your crystallized glass tiles are undamaged, unscratched, clean, shiny, and durable, you will need to keep dust and sand grains off the surface. For stain management, clean and wipe every spill from the surface.
