There is a pattern for chests in Clash Royale. Also, these chests can be won in any battle arena. Having said that, the basic ones are in this order: Free, Silver, Gold, Giant, Magical and Super Magical chests. Super Magical Chests are known to be extremely rare but not impossible to win in battle arenas. Also, it is important to know that as players unlock arenas, purchasing Giant, Magical or Super Magical Chests costs more gems. Also, there are the Wooden Chests, but these are earned in tutorials.

Free Chests earned in Clash Royale

In Clash Royale you can win many chests by battling in each arena like it was mentioned before, but also there is a way to earn chests for free and it’s basically by playing the game round the clock. These Free chests are received every 4 hours and it does not matter if you do not play continuously since these chests can be stacked and basically placed on hold for you to unlock next time you play the game. But players should be aware that they can only be stacked for a maximum of eight hours.

The more crowns you win, the more Crown Chests you unlock

These chests are earned every 24 hours once the players earn 10 crowns when battling. Clash Royale players should be aware that the content of each chest will depend on the cards the player has unlocked in each arena.

Super Magical Chests: Winning them are a rare occurrence in the game

Since these chests contain the best rewards out of all the chests including the crown chests, chances of earning them are rarer than the other chests. Super Magical chests drop randomly and the chances of earning them increase as arenas are unlocked. For the other chests there is a pattern but for these it’s just a matter of odds and good luck.
