3 Ways How an AC increases Revenue Generation

by Mitsubishi Electric India Manufacturer and Supplier of electrical and electr
One of the key aspects of running a business is recognising important investments that do not directly result in revenue generation, for instance, an air conditioner (AC). An AC or a centralised cooling system is part of day-to-day working. It’s about providing a comfortable working environment to your employees. However, can an AC truly increase a company’s revenue generation? Well, here are 3 ways how it does that:

1. Reduce the Waste of Working Hours

As an employer, it’s your responsibility to provide your employees with a comfortable environment to work in. If the environment isn’t comfortable, they would repeatedly get up from their workstations to take a break. The more hours they spend away from their workstations, the fewer hours they spend working. Endless hours get wasted in an office because employees can’t focus on work as they’re sweating the entire time. This causes not only a decrease in efficiency but also overall productivity. Every employer wants their employees to work with full concentration. For an employee to work with full concentration, they would require an AC in the workplace.

2. Maintain your Employees’ Good Health

A sweaty workplace is not only uncomfortable for everyone, but also home to several infections. The more frequently the employees get sick, the more leaves they will take. This will directly affect your business. If your office does not have sufficient working staff frequently, it’s going to negatively affect your business’ revenue generation. If you care about your company’s employees, their health, and the revenue generated because of their hard work, an AC at a workplace is a good idea.

3. Save Money

Many business owners think that having an AC at the workplace is an expensive affair. They are under the assumption that it will be a huge investment and that fans are evidently cheaper than an AC. That is true, but only in the short term. To keep a place cool with fans, you would need very powerful fans and lots of them. The electricity bills by those fans running full speed all day long will be less than an AC, but their repair will burn a hole in your pocket. Fans are not designed to run all day long, and they get heated up when used for longer hours. When they heat up, their parts are prone to stopping to function. Regularly, you will find this fan or that fan not working. Next thing you know that you will always have an electrician at your workplace repairing your fans. Overall, fans will be much more expensive than an AC or a centralised cooling system. The power consumption of an AC is less than the repair cost of fans.

In fact, if you don’t have an AC at your workplace, you will find that not many people would want to join your company. Those who do will leave your company in short spans. For your business and employees, buy a good AC or a centralised cooling system.
