It is the combined feeling of anger, frustration and resentment when everything seems to get out of control not to your wish. Next, let us understand why it is so important to overcome this undesirable emotion? Reason is simple because impatience snatch us out of happiness and by learning to overcome it, we can lead a better quality life and a meaningful one.

Here are 3 empowering tips and techniques for you to learn to overcome impatience

1.Take a Step Back and Look at the Bigger Picture

Yes, this might be hard to do when you are entrapped in this emotion but if you manage to remind yourself of this technique, rest assured that you will definitely see good results. How can i use this technique? It is simple, when your friend does something or you are entangled in a negative situation that makes you becoming impatient, try to look at the root cause of their action. "What is the reason they do this?" "Did I do anything that caused their action?" "Did they did it purposely?" Once you have developed these thinking, this process will pause your action for a while before you react, so once you analysis the cause, you should take the necessary ways to make it right. Once you have developed this technique in your mind, you will be able to manage the situation not in anger but reacting with patience.

2. Use the Eyes of Our Heart

Our eyes are not meant to look outwards to criticize others, but we should look inwards to our inner self and reflect upon. This is one of the most powerful methods to become a patient person. Recall the last time your got angry or lost your cool, be completely true and ask yourself honestly if the angry reaction had anything to do with you. I am quite certain that it did. Next ask yourself another question, would everyone become frustrated or angry when they are in this scenario? If the answer is a "NO" then this is a concrete proof that it has a lot to do with you.

So when you are getting angry next time, instead of focusing so much on the subject or object that triggered your fire of anger,  you should look inwards to your inner self and reflect before responding. Just remember that anger is not the solution of any problems.

3. Embrace Yourself with a Positive Outlook

Keeping a positive mindset in regardless of any difficult situation you are in or problem faced. Learn to assess the situation in every angle of aspects and you will realize that there is always a better approach to anything.

Learning to become patient is not a skill that can be picked up overnight, you will need to practice. It takes time and it takes effort. Just bear in mind that patience is a MUST skill to encompass in yourself in order to achieve success in life.
