With many handheld devices available nowadays, we figure that they could be the answer to finally leaving our bulky computers at home. However, with so many of our personal and business deals stored in our computers, it’s making us still debate on which device to bring with us.

Thankfully, Remote Desktop Apps were created for our convenience. With one connected to our handy devices, it’s easier for us to remotely connect to our computer wherever we are – provided, of course, that there is WiFi.

One such device that fully enjoys this benefit is the iPad. As it sits prettily in front of you along with all the latest iPad parts you have, it’s like bringing a lighter version of your computer. And to fully maximize those benefits, we would need to download apps with pain-free setup options and easy to use features.

PocketCloud

Business-wise, the PocketCloud is the best option. It’s inexpensive and filled with versatile connectivity. Plus, Pocketcloud offers the easiest remote connection experience. After downloading the simple software, you no longer have to create another account but instead connect through Gmail to your PC or Mac in less than a minute. Another good thing about this is its multiple connection feature which allows you to log in to more than one device at a time.

LogMeIn Ignition

Though a bit expensive, LogMeIn’s features make up for it. With this app, you can see on the screen an image of a mouse pointer which you can use just like how you use a regular mouse. What makes this an excellent choice is its security feature that sends you a notification message when someone attempts to connect top your PC along with the IP address of the machine used.

TeamViewer

This app is the best choice for non-commercial users. It is free and once downloaded and installed, there are no fusses such as setting, firewall and registration configuration. It is very easy to get used to it and is the standard cross-platform remote control, support and presentations.

The next time you use your iPad as a remote control for your TV, think of other things that you could do with it as it connects to your PC.
