I realize that most people who read this are going to scratch their heads and wonder, "where are the words of wisdom?" Well, the answer is, this is it.
It seems to me that a person who isn't succeeding needs to be taken back to the beginning and shown how to do it the right way. Regardless of what industry they are in. There is an old saying that says the definition of insanity is to keep doing what you've always done and expecting different results.
There are so many people that days that are struggling to make their work at home internet business a success. The reason they are struggling is because they are making achieving this goal harder than it has to be.
Anyone can easily achieve success with any internet business once you know what is required to achieve that goal. Plus, understanding what is required is how it all becomes simple for you, instead of the big mystery it currently is.
There are many things that you will have to do to achieve success. The following are the tasks that will let you finally start seeing success, instead of struggling constantly.
1. Educating yourself on building an internet business - No one can build a business, of any type, if you don't take time to learn how to do it. You can easily educate yourself on building a business on the internet by getting information for free online.
You can also find courses that will help you learn, or you can locate a mentor to learn from. The secret is to learn everything you need to know, one step at a time, no matter what way you choose.
2. Working hard and giving yourself and your business time to succeed - Too many people give up before they ever give themselves or their business time to achieve the success they want. Time and hard work is going to be needed for building any business.
There is no way around working hard or giving your business time to grow because these are not things that can be rushed. Instead, you have to learn some patience and don't give up before you ever get started. Plus, you have to work hard, even if you don't like to.
3. Having the right mindset - This is something that not everyone is aware of. For your internet business, the right mindset can literally mean the failure or success of it.
Don't get your business started while thinking that there is no way you are going to succeed with it. If you do, then get yourself ready for your business to fail because it will eventually. You need to have the mindset that your business will succeed, no matter what you have to do to make that happen.
4. Be smart and market using as many methods as you are able to - Marketing is the most imperative task you have to do. This is the only way to get customers to your business so they can spend money with you.
It is smart to start with one method at a time, educate yourself to use it effectively and then put what you have learned into action.

Sergio I guess you could say: "work smarter, not harder, but WORK! Actually it doesn't matter if you run an online or an offline business. In both cases you have to work. You just do it in a different way. There simply is no push button millionaire!

Hi Gerry, the article was so full of value that I really thought it would be hard to add any more to it but it wouldn't be an impossible task either, then I went through the comments and I just realized I have nothing else to say that can add more to this.
Instead I will plead myself guilty for over complicating things (something Cheryl brought up) trying to make myself feel like I was working my butt off and I went literally spending my days without sleeping and making pennies.

Very good points here.. it's amazing how many people go into business online and literally think they can do it all for free.. how do you think a business works? Can you start an offline business without a product, without a location, without advertising? Of course not - same is true for online, in fact even moreso for online because you can't get that walk in foot traffic..
I think the major culprit for this ill advised idea is all the hype crap that we are surrounded with. No name companies

@Cindy, It's hard to believe isn't it? That it actually takes effort to earn money online, or anywhere else for that matter. I admit I get so tired of all the "set it and forget it" offers for websites, mailers, exchanges, auctions, etc.... All of them work but not by themselves. If only I could channel some of that energy people waste looking for "easy" opportunities and get them to focus just a little of it into just one business, imagine the success.... boggles the mind doesn't it?
