You might have seen lots of so called gurus or websites selling  info products from their sites and many people buy them. But sometimes you might get that product for free via Google because if the webmaster is ignorant about disallowing the search robots from indexing the webpage,then you have a high chance that you will see their download page on Google,where you can easily download the files. Even some self acclaimed SEO gurus who sell their products for huge amounts doesn’t seem to bother about search engines indexing their download pages.

Search google for these search queries to download any paid product/ebook from Google for free :

site:*.com intitle:”Thank You For Your Order” intext:Click Here to Download
site:*.com intitle:”Thank You For Your Purchase” intext:Click Here to Download
intitle:Thank you for your Purchase! intext:PLR OR MRR OR Package OR Bonus
intitle:Thank you for your order! intext:PLR OR MRR
intitle:Thank you for your Purchase! intext:PLR OR MRR
inurl:/thankyou*.html intitle:Thank you for your order! intext:Click Here to Download
inurl:thanks intext:”Thank You For Your Order!” “Click Here” filetype:html
intitle:Thank You For Your Order! intext:Private Label
intitle:Thank You For Your Purchased! intext:Private Label
intext:”Thank You For Your Order” intext:PLR
“Thank You For Your Order!” intext:Master Resell filetype:html
“Thank You For Your Order! Your Credit Card Will Show A Charge From”
intitle:”Thank You For Your Order!” intext:download
intitle:”Thank You For Your Order” intext:Click Here To Download Now
intitle:Thank you for your purchase! intext:Click Here to Download

Anyway, if you are a seller you uses a Thank You page to sell a  product ,you can use some security measures to prevent the download from the site by those who are not buying your product.

The best way is to stop preventing search engines index that URL in which you have your download link. You can  noindex your site by using following metatags in your site :

To prevent all robots from indexing a page on your site, place the following meta tag into the <head> section of your page:

<meta name="robots" content="noindex">

To allow other robots to index the page on your site, preventing only Google’s robots from indexing the page:

<meta name="googlebot" content="noindex">
