Cycling In Perthshire a site designed, created and moderated by 2 cycling enthusiasts from Perth Norrie and Alan. The site will include details on great cycle routes, including easy, medium and hard in the Perthshire Area.
We will list by area the best routes for cycling, including mountain biking and the levels of fitness or effort required tackling them. Perthshire offers 2000 square miles of unspoilt beautiful countryside, clean fresh air, an extensive network of quiet and fairly quiet roads, lanes and tracks, for all cyling levels.
Perthshire is one of the most beautiful areas of Scotland, stretching from Strathmore in the east, to the Pass of Drumochter in the north, Rannoch Moor and Ben Lui in the west, and Aberfoyle in the south. Perthshire includes; Aberfeldy, Aberfoyle, Alyth, Auchterarder, Bankfoot, Birnam, Blair Atholl, Blair Castle, Blairgowrie, Callander, Coupar Angus, Crianlarich, Crieff, Dunkeld, Dunkeld Cathedral, Forgandenny, Killin, Kinloch Rannoch, Loch Tummel, Meigle, Perth, Pitlochry and Scone.
The emphasis of this site is all things to do with cycling including information on cycle routes in Perthshire, bikes, bike safety, kids bikes, selecting the right bike and having fun cycling in Perthshire.
We also intend to highlight the beauty of Perthshire in our photo galleries and you are more than welcome to contribute. There are also forums and galleries that you can sign up to for free – why not share your cycling stories and pictures on line – Please restrict your photographs to Cycling and Scenery related topics.
