Papaya Benefits
The way I see it, am a natural health freak and am not ashamed to say it, you know I used to have problems with my skin looking dull and lifeless but I can promise you my journey into the world of pawpaw or papaya has really being a blessing and my skin is all the better for it.AM LOVING THIS FRUIT!
Pawpaw or papaya is now a staple in my diet and if I don't eat it at least once a day I feel my day is not complete.
It is said that papaya or pawpaw contains enzymes that enable the digestion of protein. Chief of which is Papain, so I figure every time I eat a diet high in protein I must eat a bowl of papaya to aid its digestion.
I have also noticed that since I started adding papaya to my diet my skins elasticity has improved remarkable, my skins complexion is clearer and I find myself really impressed with my skin.
Ah, the best part is its ex-foliating properties, I read somewhere that one can use papaya as an exfoliant and I actually tried it, my experience was that it is effective however if you have a thin sensitive skin like mine it would be advised that you don't leave it on for more than fifteen minutes and make sure you wash your face before you put it on your face.
HOW TO MAKE A PAPAYA/PAWPAW FACE MASK
It's quite easy to make your own home made mask, make sure the papaya or pawpaw is ripe, blend or mash and apply to the face and if you are pressed for time and you can't be bothered to blend or mash, just cut a little piece of the fruit and rub on the face and wash off after fifteen minutes.
