Warning! Secure your FaceBook account
A friend sent me this message:
Safety Announcement
While on FB, look at your URL address (the very top box on your screen). If you see "http:" instead of "https:" then you DO NOT have a secure session and can be HACKED. Go to Account - Account Settings - Account Security - click Change. Check box (secure browsing), click Save. FB has automatically set it on the non-secure setting! Do your friends a huge favour. Copy and re-post.
I checked my FaceBook, and the setting was http instead of https.
I invite you to check your accounts ASAP.

Thanks for the info, I had notice once, my friend sending me an email on face book, saying I should stop sending her email cause she dont know me. When I linked with her, she said she did not send that email to I, but some one else, but I got it. Lots of games request also was sent to I by friends, which when I contacted them, and told them stop sending me games request, they say it was not them. Something unusual happening on FB, lets pray they resolve it soon. Thanks for the info.

@Philippe. Of course "https" is more secure than "http" format how you can see on sites that need high level of security like Paypal & Alertpay.
My question was by I have had a bad experience with my "http" format on my FB account when I shared info from a safelist site, after that, this was annoying because some of my contacts on FB updated their photos of their profiles and I could not identify them & my account was blocked, so I written to FB support to be re established my account after sev

Honestly, Rodolfo, I don't know what could happen. All I know is, when you have the choice of http vs https, the latter is best. Especially in the case of FaceBook, I would say, considering it's the most popular site in the world, so many sharks want to sink their teeth into its users.

Will allow access from other sites that share content on your profile this setting on security of your FB account?
