Writing your goal down is important because most people forget where they are and need reminding where they want to go. If you want to take it to another level record your dreams or goals and play them back to yourself when you go to bed.
Make that commitment to yourself and see what the universe will bring

I am agreeing with you that people who write their Dreams ultimately achieve it provided they make a GOAL out of it and than they will have to make a plan to accomplish it. After making plan they will have to have FAITH on it that they are going to fulfill their Dream and at last they will have to work according to plans they have made.

yes writing down your dreams is like making a plan and sticking to it, ticking off as you go is a good idea as well, that way you can look at the list - see how far you are &how far you still have to go. Its like a type of vision
