Click Track Profit Launches - Finally a Fair Chance
What? A launch without the JV element? I recently received an email from one of my sponsors complaining about JV launches. It was really a great email. He pointed out that it seems unfair that a program owner sends you a message to join a JV launch with some cool bonus of free credits for your advertising. I have often jumped on these myself. But what we forget is that they have also sent the same message to anyone at that program that is in your down line. Not cool. You brought the business to the admin and you may receive a commission or extra credits for the referral's activity, but you didn't count on the fact that you would never be able to compete again for any new business from them. I have noticed that Carl Baily of Instant Splash always reminds people to please check with their sponsor before they join a program that he sends a message about. It may or may not work, but at least he suggests it. It could be because he usually does not have a tempting offer since Instant Splash has no carrots to dangle in the form of credit, but I like to think that it is just because he is a really nice guy.
That is why I appreciated the fact that Tim Linden, Jon Olson, and friends launched Click Track Profit without the usual JV Hoopla. (No reference to Traffic Hoopla which I love. The word just fits sometimes.) This gives the average Joe (no, not List Joe) a fair shot at getting their splash pages in rotation or to promote it to their list at the same time that the big guns get their shot. Another one of my absolute favorite tools, Safelist Genie, recently did the same thing. Stanil Dobrev, SL Genie creator, deserves kudos as well.
Last night I took the affiliate page and put it in a few traffic exchanges and then sent out my safelist ad using SL Genie. Less than 24 hours later I have 10 referrals and $49 in pending commission and I didn't even build a splash page!
Click Track Profit is an awesome program for newbies. With video walk-thrus every step of the way and only a handful of programs to join, it is a snap. There are about six traffic exchanges, TE Toolbox, Ad kreator splash page creator and Traffic Wave. That's it! Set it up and you are ready to promote the system. There are also great videos being added as we speak that explain the basics of splash page building and other great tips from the pros.
Check it out for free or upgrade like I did for more earnings. It goes to show you that people are still looking for something new to promote and something better to help them earn. Time will tell if Click Track Profit will be a popular program two years from now, but at least those of us wanting to build our business had a fair shake at this one.

Thanks for the heads up on CTP. I was pleasantly surprised that they didn't do a JV at launch. All of the above comments are very informative. Thank you.

That was Exactly it Karla, there was a backlash from the TE owners from being excluded without a JV launch. Plus, with the simplicity of the program, they did not include every TE under the sun to join. Thank goodness.
FYI- Hit2Hit got a backlash from its membership base, you know the people who pay the bills, so they are now allowing the site to be advertised again. Go figure. I think it was more a case of feelings getting hurt than anything else.

I heard that too Ellyn. Why would any TE ban something based on a member wasting their credits? In my opinion, most of the people out there pushing worthless things are wasting their credits, so Hit2Hit should ban 75% of what is one there. I think that is more like sour grapes for not being included or because it is simple her competition.

Great article! This is why I don't understand the resistance from other TE owners towards this program. It's perfectly suited for the newbie marketer. I heard that the TE, Hit2Hit, even banned it from their rotation, stating that folks would be wasting their credits promoting it!! Sure, it's simply presented right now...that's perfect for someone just starting out.

Great insight to what the owners of ClickTrackProfit seem to be trying to accomplish with this launch. It is nice to see some of the big names sharing the profit with the little guys.
I look forward to seeing how this program develops as they keep adding training videos. As is, the system is great for newbies learning to use traffic exchanges for branding and list building. For the more seasoned marketer, send all your newbies here for training. Nothing could be better than getting train
