Connecting with new prospects!
Most people I know in the internet marketing world have a hard time getting recruits. Or referring people. I use many methods of connecting with people, I use Skype, Facebook, here-Apsense, and a lot of business networking sites. I am like most people I have a very hard time getting people to sign up for my businesses or anything else I am doing.
I find the ones who have the best shot are the ones who know how to recruit and have been in internet marketing for sometime. I have been struggling so much with promoting it is so hard for me.
I am not sure what works to get people, I know everything about relationship building and I am very good at it. I just lack at getting anyone to sign up what I am doing. Because, I get people who want something in return. '
But, I am trying to run businesses and I am so lost I need more guidance.

Bold of you to come forward like that. I really appreciate your degree of honesty.
Like the other comments are clearly stating which I am in agreeance with, there is no magic spell that will do it, it's all about branind, and I agree with Catherine, it's better with a picture of just you.
Knowing that you love your kids anbd how they, since they are part of your life is also part of your business, you can show them off in other places like the picture places here when people go

@Philippe, Yes it takes consistency, patience, dedication and courage. We all want and need results. It's the chocolate on top of the marketing ice cream sundae. Law of averages refers to a numbers game, more you put yourself out there the more "chances" of results. But, we shouldn't rely only on "chance". I think I'm rambling now. Focus! Action=Results

Hi Lori I agree with what Catherine & Philippe there isnt' going to be any overnight success bec. it takes time & consistency. Find your niche and what you are good at and go for it. Just because it doesn't take off instantly doesn't mean it won't work you just have to stick with it.

Hi Lori, when you find something that works for you, the results will follow.
A few months ago, I was trying to get excited about a site where I was registered. The owner could not explain things clearly to me. I ended up not getting too many referrals there.
Find something you love to do, overdeliver on results, and most of all, be patient. If you expect big money within 30 days, chances are, it won't happen.

I don't think there is any magic bullet Lori. It will take time and patience to get your name out there and your presence online well known.
I attended a webcast yesterday with some leaders in the Internet Marketing Industry who are earning 6 figures a year. Not millionaires, but I think most of us would be happy with a 6 figure income from our online ventures.
