Beware False Promises
I received a Sandisk MP3 player the other day. I have been wanting one for some time so I could download my favorite music. Most songs you buy only cost between 98 to 99 cents.
I decided to see if I could find some sites that offered free downloads.
There are some free sites out there but the music they offer, I have never heard of.
I found a couple of sites tonight where they promise that all you have to do is sign up for free and you get to download the most up to date music on the net.
Don't be fooled by this. On these sites, you sign up for free but only for a limited time. Then they start charging your phone bill up to $9.99 a month.
They hide this bit of information in the fine print which a lot of people don't bother to read.
Nothing is free.
If I had to give one piece of advice that people would remember it is this. Never Ever sign up for anything until you read the fine print. It might not only save you a bill, but a headache trying to unsubscribe from the site.
Take care.

I appreciate the information you've all shared. Thanks for you kind words. 99% huh?ouch. That's the reason I can hardly find something with integrity and reliable to join in.

I have had that happen before! Also another one with posters! They say you get one for free with no other obligation. Then they send you one but it has others with it and you find out you are locking in to paying 30 bucks a month! Had to fight them to get that fixed. They are like you agreed to it! Which yes I found out I did. When I made the window a lot bigger so I could read the small print!
