The KEY to unlocking the door to create a successful Local Marketing campaign is to sign up AG's first. Here's why:
  • Once you have signed up one or more local AG's in a targeted area, it will be easier to then sign up local Merchants in that same area, as many Merchants will be willing to participate to help support the AG's card sales, fund raising efforts.
  • Consumers will have a greater incentive to purchase the card if they know a portion of the sale of that card, will help to support the local AG's.
  • AG's can also be a GREAT source to refer local Merchants for you to sign up. Let the Merchants know which AG referred you to them, which may give the Merchant an added incentive to participate and/or give a higher discount. This can be very helpful to you in "launching" the Merchant Sign Up phase of your campaign.
  • You will be able to use your list of AG's that have signed up, to help you sign up Merchants, as supporting local AG's provides some Merchants with an added incentive to participate and provide a discount.
