Why do people lose their minds on a full moon?
Here's an example (the whole reason I thought of the question).
Now, I'm happy that my step-son's mother called to tell me about how "our" son is in the hospital w/ a level 2 concussion. The only problem is that she was being VERY ugly saying things like, " I don't even know why I'm calling you & him (my husband) no one gives a sh**!".
Here's another problem, she know's that I'm 500 miles away since my husband & I don't have our own house to live in. So, really would you react like an A hole when we're already having serious problems???
Did I mention that she goes nuts like this EVERY time it's a full moon? Hense the blog title.
Just wondering if I'm the only woman or man who has to deal with pshyco's like this.

Oh yea, you helped me remember one thing. She's in the criminal justice system. She was a correctional officer, then she moved on to teaching criminal justice at Remmington College. Isn't that great how she knows EXACTLY what she can & can not say. I finally was able to get her on my voice mail threatening me, so she wasn't careful enough. ;o) Haven't used it yet, but plan on it when needed. Seems like when I'm not 500 miles away, I'll use that one.

I spent 12 year working for a police department and yes the psychos crank it up a notch or two during the full moon. You eventually learn how to tune them out. I have a few relatives like your step son's mom

She's "nuts" all the time, but worse during a full moon. Just like any pshyco person, she's a kiss ass when she wants something. I try to not go crazy, but a woman who abandons her kids (at ages 7 & 10), then tries to acts like she wants to take them from you (at ages 10 & 13), THEN gets pissed when you don't have a home to live in anymore & the kids have to stay with her so now her life is soooooooo miserable & no one helps her......SHE'S off her f'in rocker!!! Chick can't make her mind up,

I'm not sure what the deal is with full moons but one question I do have is Does she only go "nuts" during a full moon or is she worse during a full moon?
If this only happens once a month - just ignore it
If (as I suspect it's worse during a full moon) Be happy that you are 500 miles away because you probably won't change her and I'm guessing she is one of those miserable people who like to have company.
There is not much you can do other than limit how much power you give her (ie don't get
