Confidence Building ? Why Positive Thinking Will not Work

On the Internet, and everywhere else you look at it to find solutions to issues of confidence building, is full of ?positive thinking?. It seems as if this phrase has become a quick and easy solution to any question! But wait a minute ? we all know, that really looks like, if something sounds too good to be true, it often is, right? I think that too much emphasis is given to the discussion of positive thinking, confidence, and I now explain why.

The words "positive thinking" have been around at least since 1952, when Norman Vincent Peale wrote a book with those 2 words as the title, and it's still a bestseller to this day.

Positive thinking has nothing to do with trying to see everything through rose-tainted lenses. It has more to do with common sense, IMHO. We hear a lot of cynicism, because it's easy to criticize. But, in adding to what Paula said, get the courage to do what's right for you, and results will follow. Maybe not in 24

There is nothing wrong with positive thinking opposite to thinking yourself rich. However you must combine positive thinking with a business plan, commitment, knowledge, developing skills and be prepared to invest both money and time.
