Simple Techniques To Get Easy Referrals With Almost No Effort Part 1

This the first blog post in a series of helpful articles on how to gain referrals without too much effort.

As everybody knows a lot of programs and businesses require you to recruit referrals in order to start making serious money. For some people this is very easy, they load up their email program and blast some emails to their opt-in members or they create a compelling post to submit on their popular blog and *swoosh* they have dozens of active referrals. Other people however do have problems getting people to sign up under them. For those people I have made a simple guide.

In this guide I do assume you know SEO. If you do not know SEO go learn it as soon as possible. SEO broadens your horizon and improves your earnings.

Using Squidoo and Hubpages to gain Referrals

1. I take it you already have a Squidoo account, if not sign up. Okay what we are going to do first is decide which program we are going to promote. In this guide I'll continuously use Kooday as an example since it's my favorite program. Open up the create a squidoo lens page. Fill out the name of the program, in this case Kooday. Fill out the tags and decide which URL your Lens will have. Could be something like: squidoo.com/kooday-legit-scam. Or similar words, as long as kooday is the first word and the other words say something about the program and do appear on the Lens. Fill your squidoo lens with content. When opening the text module you'll see a text box on the left, this will be the h1 tag, the box on the right will be the h2 tag. Choosing the right words for those fields are important.

Make your referral link appear twice or thrice in your lens. If you want you can cloak your referral link so that it's less obvious they'll sign up under someone.

2. Do the same with Hubpages.

3. Continuously update your Lens with new info and make sure your lens is clean and not filled with all sorts of distracting modules.

4. Search Engine Optimize it all. With newer programs you should be able to rank second pretty soon. I do actually rank second for Kooday and receive 200 to 300 visitors  a week.
