Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is the seventh and final installment of the immeasurably successful movie series. The movie has been divided into two films by Warner Bros. Pictures. The idea to split the 759-page novel began to surface way back in mid-2007, but only came to fruition when the 2007-2008 Writers Guild of America defunct.
The renowned British filmmaker David Yates has been chosen to direct both last two films of the series. Other names that were thrown in on the mix were Mexican directors Alfonso Cuaron, who directed Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, and Guillermo del Toro, who passed on the Prisoner of Azkaba and is best known for directing Pan?s Labyrinth and the Hellboy films.
The movie version of the first half is one of the most awaited films this year. It will hit wide screens on November 13, while part two will be released on July 2011.
