Me first tip is to use your real name and be proud of it, and use it in everything you do. This is a form of branding that will help you in the long time. Use emails, and links that have your name in them as well. Name recognition is key.

Looking forward to more tips... For the longest time I used creative titles for every marketing website. Lately I have decided to attach my name to everything I do. It was always creative name first and then my own and now it is my name first and then creative title. I say brand yourself first and everything else will attach itself to you. Your tip is just a conformation of that theory...
