Hi all, Anyone have ideas about attracting members to auction sites
Hi all,
I have been working on my auction site for the past couple of months, been getting a steady flow of vistors but not many registered users. I have no listing fees, there are some exclusions such as catergory listing etc. Final value fees are pretty low as well. I have some bonuses for registering which have no time limits to use.
People say givng bonuses isnt good, it says that you dont offer a good service and you are bribing people. I dont beleive this at all. I give these bonuses out on my auction site to help members start their online selling. And i like to be nice.
The site is gradually moving up in page ranks. Still working on that area. Pretty much i have vistors but they not registering. I have also placed a forum for the site. Link st bottom of auction homepage.
Anyone have any ideas or options how to increase member base. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
