Newbies, How not to Start on ApSense
Hi AgainBeing a Newbie here on ApSense I am guilty of not starting the right way with ApSense, i thought I would write this blog just to tell newbies how NOT to start. =)
First of all ApSense provides you with ample ways to Advertise, so do not create a blog that just says, here are my cool links and then a bunch of links... This is not a blog and will bring no Value to ApSense.
Write a meaningful blog that can help people, or write a good review about a product that you use. Write blogs and create groups that will be of value not only to you but valuable to all the ApSense users.
When users read a cool post they are more likely to remember you for your cool blog than for your blog full of Spam. The same goes for comments on blogs, etc.
Be sure to read the ApSense rules so you can be clear on what Spam is on ApSense.
There are places where you can start and just advertise, ApSense is just not one of them.
Tip 1: Don't Rush ApSense
Use ApSense to build yourself a Network of business minded people that you can connect with, not just people that you would like to sell something to. In case you have not noticed it is hard to sell products to other sellers =P
If you are just connecting with people just to be spamming them with emails you will get no where!!
Use email to make real contacts or better yet real friends. You will have to work together with people to make money online. Just spamming me with emails before you get to know me is just not good karma. If you are only interested in selling things to me I don't really want to do business with you.
If you have hundreds of friends or business partners connecting with you, ready to pull the next online $$ gig with you, that is worth $$ and that will take you places.
Tip 2: Build a Real Network of Friends
All that being said, I must admit that I am also guilty of some of these things, but it is only because I am eager to make that $$. Don't let that eagerness spoil any chances you have to make good connections.
Sometimes Online Marketing is like the wild wild west, it is good that ApSense is so strict because it helps to bring us back to the fundamentals of making Money.
Tip 3: Believe in Yourself and Work Hard!

Well done. Great article! It is exactly telling what to do and what NOT to do on APSense. There are alot of places online for just adding links and ads. Also there are free classified ads sites where you add you ads. APSense is not a classified ads site or just spaming. APSense is a social business networking site, providing also tools for advertising your business. So make sure that you use the tools for advertising purspose, and NOT blog article, group discussion or in your comments.

I just have to say that you are setting a great example. Many of us are willing to help the newbies and it's nice when we see a newbie take the advice to heart. Too many do not. So thanks for not just hearing what is said but taking it to heart, it makes it worth our effort when we can see one person grow. And the nice thing is that in the long run, you will be the winner while those who are determined to do things the spam way will lose.

Wendell is obvious a "newbie" ~ like Nick admits, I too was guilty of selfishly offering links to my offerings where ever I could post them.
If this was my business article, I would not delete Wyndell's post. His short post is a shining example of "what not to do in social communities" ~ it will simply be ignored by Internet Lifers in on this site.
