Get an ample amount of rest and exercise everyday and do away with as many stressors as possible. Anything that you can do be healthier will also assist in your weight loss objectives.

Develop a timeline for your weight loss programs. Think about how much weight you want to lose and by when. Also understand that weight loss is going to vary for each person.

Make your weight loss goals known to an individual that you are at ease with and have faith in.  You are going to need support to stay on task. You may even find that this person has a desire to lose weight as well.  You can both work on it together.

Develop ways to monitor your goals. Write your goals for a week in a log.  At the end of the week, look at the journal and to see if you achieved your goals.  Keeping track of your efforts and holding yourself accountable will help you discover what worked for you and what didn't.

Your weight is going to vary from day to day. Even eating healthy foods will cause this fluctuation. Backslides, stress, moods, etc... Will affect your weight also. Do not become discouraged when this happens. Step back up and continue with your weight loss goals.
