To start off, let's go over the basics of the game. 13 card rummy is a game played with a standard deck of 52 cards. The objective of the game is to form valid sets and sequences of cards, with the ultimate goal of being the first player to get rid of all your cards.
Each player is dealt 13 cards at the beginning of the game. The remaining cards are placed face-down on the table to form the draw pile. The top card from the draw pile is placed face-up to form the discard pile.
Players take turns to draw one card from the draw pile or the top card from the discard pile. After drawing a card, the player must choose one card from their hand to discard.
