American Made
Ok, here is my dilema:
Everyone (or almost darn near) I personally know as of recently has been up in arms about, GM going bankrupt and buying AMERICAN MADE!
So first off, this GM thing. Does no one understand or even think (outside what the media tells you to), that this has been a "long time" coming? I mean come on people, you don't just decide on the spur of the moment..hey I think we will declare bankruptcy today..that's not realistic. And yes I do know (or should say did) people that work for this company (used to be wonderful). I also know personally that "retirees" of said company are literally getting "screwed", and I think thats WRONG! However, in any viable business..there are always consquences to our actions.
But my real dilema is the American Made thing. Yes I believe in supporting your own before you worry about____, BUT and this is BIG, I also believe deeply in the fact that WE ARE ALL ONE BIG HUMANITY LOOKING FOR THE SAME ANSWERS. So heres the deal, these two beliefs contradrict each other..and which one wins? When I am around co-workers, or others that believe other than myself..I just keep quiet, as I believe that to be the best course of action (or unaction). I strive to not let myself get caught up in the "drama",as it is FEAR based instead of LOVE.
Oh theres so much more I could write, but I will save that for another "rainy day". I do hope to get communications started regarding this post. And I whole heartdly believe the answers to "our problems" is communicating and understing the others viewpoints (respectably).
