You will use tax identification number or you social security number for your tax. Once you have a home business, you will be considered as a sole proprietor. You will then receive 1099 tax form instead of W2. It will be different because it has its own set of rules and paperwork and you can even have many tax forms. Starting business at home can also give you the authority to deduct costs in maintaining your home office and other home related expenses from your tax.

One of the attractions of home-based business is becoming your own boss. It will be an advantage if you know how to discipline your self. Your work ethics and personality will determine the success of your business. It will be up to you if you adhere on strict deadlines or to procrastinate all day.
