Accounting: Recession Proof

Accounting: Recession Proof I am an Accounting student, soon to be graduating and getting ready to sit for the CPA exam, and I finally understand how lucky that I actually am. Not only will I have a job upon graduation, but I will intern this summer as well. There are vast amount of opportunities for the major. During these tough economic times, one thing that in a sense is true, is the accounting profession has seen even more job openings, because now more people need to get involved to watch over accounts and ensure the correctness of each transactions and statements. Also, if people are deciding to go back to school, I would pray that you future-students choose accounting as your major, because of the opportunities that comes with it, the networking and the vast amount of knowledge that you can learn about business, corporations and information that is beneficial to personal life.
