I was at breakfast this morning when a Dean Martin song came on (it was “Kick in the Head”) while my taste for music generates toward rock-n-roll, I have developed an affection for the classic crooners, you know Frankie, Dean, Tony…

 

It reminds me you can never go wrong with a classic and the same goes for jewelry while the new styles are in vogue, a lot can be said for the classics. Guys, solitaires and three stone rings are timeless and lovely and always a safe bet if you are choosing the ring yourself. Girls, well a funky fashion bracelet or earring style might look great today, but will you be wearing it in 3- 5 years or will it be a roommate of other jewelry items that have gone out of fashion in your jewelry box.

 

That’s the beauty of a classic it never goes out of style it is something that is passed down from generation to generation in an endearing way. Grandma’s pot roast was so good because her Grandma passed along the recipe perfection over time. The same goes for taste in jewelry the classics have already have stood the test of time. They have been run through the opinion mill and came out winners!!

 

With that said keep in mind that we are creating rings, bracelets, necklaces etc. today that will be tomorrow’s classics and all I’m suggesting is keep your mind open to something old that can be something new.
