Can Video Email Make A Difference In Your Communications?

In today's changing world of communications is more important than ever before. I know that personally my inbox has become loaded with people that want to say hello to those online marketers that are trying to sell me things to help my male image to clothing and shoes for every occassion.

And if only to make matters worse the emails or sales letters are pages in length. When I see that message is like a story book I am finding that i have a very heavy "D" finger touch. You know the BIG DELETE Button.

If you are like me you are too busy to spend time reading a book when you just want to get the message without a storyline.

Recently I was introduced to a web- based video email system. There were no programs to purchase, none to download and everything is web-based. Within 15 minutes I was sending video emails to my entire emailing list. Soon I was getting phone calls and emails reiterating how "Cool" my emails were and questions asking me how and where can they get something like it.

I was shocked! Usually some of my contacts would take days to reply or not reply at all.

Using these video emails I had more responses in one day then I had in previous 14. Then a lightbulb went off in my head, A "DADA Moment!. What if i started using these new technology to stay in contact with my customers from my business. Would they respond like my personal list? Time to give it a try.... Grabbed one of my email lists of people who purchased from me within the last 3 months and decided to put an offer together(one that they had gotten upon a first purchase through autoresponder message) and see if my proposal when done with video would get a better response.

What I immediately found out was that there is a big Wow Effect when you use video in your email. And the reason why makes sense. Afterall did you know that based on studies that when people read (see) information  they remember 20% of it after 30 days. If they hear the information they retain 10%, but when combine both the seeing and hearing senses  they actually remembered over 50% of the material presented.                                              What a great medium to stay in touch.

It started working for me immediately  and the results keep getting  more responsive as I get better with my video skills, you know being in front of the camera.

If you are not one out of 30 Billion using video in emails I can only suggest that you do it know or be left in the dust.
