Alaska topples TNT in PBA Game 1 Finals

Last Jan.28, it was the start of the PBA best of seven Philippine Cup Championships. Two of the best teams right now, the top seeded Alaska Aces and the Talk and Text Tropang Texters will collide throughout the championship goal. It was Alaska who drew first blood in Game 1 which they won, 102-95 over Talk N Text. Alaska's LA Tenorio scored a career-high 27 points and the big man Sonny Thoss scored 19 points, Tony Dela Cruz scored 14 points and 5 steals, mostly from Mac Cardona, and former 2-time MVP Willie Miller added 11. Mac Cardona with 16 points but only held 6 of 21 from the field while harvey carey with another double-double performance with 16 points and 15 points as they fell to Alaska. This friday, Game 2 will be played and TNT will look to recover what they have lost in Game 1. Alaska indeed is a very powerful team in the league right now.
