Who do you want to become?

Many people get into this business with one main goal in mind, to achieve a better financial situation/earn freedom.  

 
However in all the hustle and bustle we often turn into people we do not recognize or truly care about. We often in our lust for money or success, forget about the people we were. Eventhough we may not see it ourselves, others can and its not pretty.

 
I am bringing this up because I have seen a lot of people lose loved ones and friends just because of the desire to become more. Now I am not saying that wanting more is bad, it is just the ways that we may go about getting more is bad. I think this tends to happen to newbies more often than seasoned veterans to network marketing.  

 
I remember when i first started in network marketing, I remember feeling sooo desperate, that I almost did things that I would have never thought of doing. Just that desperation, and the feeling of failing and not becoming anything changes you. Then things that you were totally against, did not seem so bad. You start making excuses to justify. It will only be for a little while, I will stop when i get a little more money, this can help my family and others. However if you begin to think like that, and justify things you would normally not do. STOP!!!

 
Desperation is not a valid reason. I am glad that I did not go through with something that would surely have been one of the worst decissions I could have made in this business. Just the shear thought of almost considering it, tore me apart with guilt. I literally could not sleep or relax.
 
So my advice is this, do not do anything against your better judgement. It is better to do things that you feel comfortable, than to be rich and have a dirty conscience. Make sure, you become the person you want to become.
