The American dream

The American dream-Home ownership  One of the biggest dreams Americans have is Home ownership.  Lately that dream has turned into a nightmare. With what happened with the housing bubble. values were inflated unrealisticly, and when that bubble burst, many American homeowners were caught up in a situation where they owed more on their mortgage than what their  house was worth. Many homeowners were in serious trouble because they had refinanced and taken out equity to use on other purchases, thinking that they could always exit the mortgage because the value would stay up. Alas, that did not happen. Now many are in foreclosure. The dream has turneds into a nightmare for them.
