How to Start Apsense Blog

by Matthew

You took the time to write a Blog here are Apsense,
you carefully choose your Category and you summited it to the viewing public.

However, after 2 weeks of waiting and anticipating, no one Topped your Blog.

There are some members at Apsense that are viewing other member's Blogs,
stealing ideas, topics and even sentences, only to rewriting them in a different format.

Not to mention the fact that they never bothered to Top your Blog for the ideas
that they got from viewing your Blog.

YOU ARE BUSTED PUNKS.
YOUR MUG SHOTS COME UP FOR VIEW IN APSENSE RECENT READERS.

This is a serious problem here at Apsense that I haven't seen too many members discuss.

I also feel as if some of our Apsense members are too quiet about this issue
and are not discussing it enough.

I wonder why?
Could it be that "THEY ARE THE VERY ONES WHO ARE DOING THIS CRAP"?

AGAIN, BUSTED.

After writing one my original Blogs here at Apsense titled
"Let's be thoughtful of others and give them the credit they deserve".

I did receive some praise and some members were kind enough to Top my Blog,
but there were also some members that really did not respond or leave a comment
about the subject at hand.

Now while no one demands that you have to Top my Blog, I am sure some other members including myself would appreciate more interaction & discussion, when you visit our Blogs.

What do you do when your Blog is not being Topped or Viewed?

Do you retire the entire Blog and write a new Blog with a new subject?

NOT SO FAST.

First consider the Title of the Blog!

Sometimes the Title is a major turn off.

For example: If your Blog is about Cats and instead of using a Title like "All about my Cats",
you instead choose to Title the Blog "All about my pussy", this can be a major turn off. OK.

Please choose suitable Titles for your Blog!

Also you may want to check the Category where you placed the Blog.
It simply could be hiding in the wrong Category.

Sometimes I change the Categories around to get interest in the Blog.
One week it can be Marketing Tips, the next week it can be Classified Ads.

Some members when logging into Apsense may be viewing only one Category
and will never see your Blog, so spice it up by changing the Categories around
every now and then.

Is your Blogs Composition well written?

Let me explain.
If you are just going to Post your Ad's Link and not take the time to discuss your offer,
this is also a major turn off.
Who the hell is going to buy your Product or Service from just a Link?

It shows the customer that you simply do not care about the Product or Service
you are offering.
Why should they buy anything from you if you are showing them you don't care?

Be an active Member of the Community!

You may want to be thoughtful of other Apsense members and remember to Top their well written Blogs. This alone is showing other Apsense members that you care about the community and that you are a active member of the community.

If no one knows who you are and you haven't introduced yourself by simply leaving a comment on the Blog that you visited or Topped the Blog, the author is not going to know who you are or even remember you.

Now I am not saying go nuts and Top everyone's Blog, whether you liked to or not,
but remember that this is a community and that we are all suppose to be here to help each other.

If you never Topped anyone's Blog, there is a strong possibility that yours will never be Topped either. You may be labeled as a " YOU'RE NOT A TEAM PLAYER".

Also simple English Composition 101!

A well written Blog should start with a Title, a strong middle Subject and a strong Ending.
Please proof read your Blog before you submit checking for spelling errors.

If you made a few errors, don't worry you can always edit your Apsense Blog
using the edit Link.

Tags, get to know them!

Examples of Tags are seen at the bottom of the page in the Groups and Discussions Link.
Click on them and look at the examples that come up.
Then simply try to Link your Products, Website, Groups, Social Networks, etc etc, to them.
This move alone will get more exposure to your Website or sites.

Google preferences!

I just discovered in another Blog outside of Apsense that Google prefers to use small print
over LARGER CAPPED LETTERS.
Google dislikes them, especially in the Titles of all Blogs.

Example of a good title that is Google friendly: "Apsense is the best Social Network".
Notice the Capital Letters and how they were placed,
this is ok says Google.
I suggest you take it into consideration if you would like your Blogs or Website
to have a Higher Search Engine Rank.

Social Bookmarking your Blogs!

Exactly. Right after you produce your amazing Blog
you may want to take the opportunity to social bookmark it.
You can see the social bookmarking examples if you scroll down
under your Blog.
You will see del.icio.us, digg, Furl, BlinkList, Ma.gnolia, Reddit, YahooMyWeb.
Open an account with these 7 examples and link them to your Apsense Blogs.
This move will get you some traffic and exposure to your Blogs.

Use the "ASK" section of Apsense!

Using the "ASK" section of Apsense is a smart move.
You can receive more hits and tops to your Blog if you can Link your Asked question
to your Blogs.
Try to ask questions that pertain to your Blog then simply Link that Blog to the question
in the "ASK" section of Apsense.

Don't forget to use the new IChannels to your advantage.

I linked my business website to my IChannels with the products and services I offer.
Link the IChannels to your "Ask Apsense" questions or "Blogs" if they can be Linked.
It is a great way to get seen by the viewing public.

If after trying these useful tips nothing happened,
then I am afraid you may have to retire your Blog and let it ascend to Blog Heaven.

I hope this information was helpful to you all. Best of Luck...
