The best of both worlds

A JOB (Just Over Broke) provides more than just money itself, it provides a real sense of community for most people.  Social interaction and communication is a way for people to identify and connect with other people.   

Can one have the best of both worlds?  You bet, social networking has become the buzz of the internet and allows people a way to develop a Plan B.  In a downturn economy where jobs are going overseas, and people are struggling to stay afloat especially with gasoline at an all time high; building a business on the internet through Internet /Network Marketing may be just what the doctor ordered.  What is Internet or Network Marketing?

In the Business School written by Robert Kiyosaki, he talks about Metcalf's Law.

"Robert Metcalf is one of the people credited for creating the Ethernet.  He also more recently founded the technology company 3Comm Corp.  He is also credited for defining Metcalf's Law, which is:

A Network's Economic Value = Numbers of Users (Squared). 

For example, if there exists just one computer, that single computer really has no economic value.  The moment there are two computers, according to Metcalf's Law, the economic value of the computer network is now squared.  The economic value of the network would go from zero to two (squared) or four.  Add a third comuter and the economic value of the network is now nine." 

If the saying is true that people buy from those that they either know, like, respect or trust, then social networking is an excellent way to increase those odds.  There is a great deal of money to be made in Internet or Network Marketing and the way to increase one's economic value, is to build a network.  

People who share a common sense of direction and purpose can get to where they are going more quickly and easily if they traveled on their own.

Social Networking not only provides a way for people to come together and share a sense of community and purpose but build a network and an income.  People really can have the best of both worlds, a JOB and Social Networking too!

Can't socialize on your (JOB), your Plan B awaits and social networking may be an just what the doctor ordered in today's hectic and downturn economy.
