A misfortune may be a hidden blessing
There is an old Chinese saying that says, "Who would have assumed when the old man at the border has lost his mare it was a hidden blessing" This means that a loss may be a gain, or misfortune may be a hidden blessing. Today is a common adage. This saying comes originally a story in Lessons of World Human Nan Hua Zi compiled in the Han Dynasty in the West. The story is as follows:
There was once a man who lived at the northern border of China and excelled in breeding horses. Everyone is called Sai Wong (ie "old man at the border"). One day, one of the horses escaped from Wong Sai hara détala and on the other side of the border in the territory of the People Hu. On hearing the news, all its neighbours came to comfort Sai Wong, and hoped that it would not be too affected by the news. To the surprise of all, Sai Wong was not affected, and said with a smile, "a horse who fled may be a blessing in disguise."

Several months later, the runaway horse returned with another magnificent horse territory Hu. When his neighbors learned the news, one after another they came to congratulate Sai Wong. This time, Wong Sai fronça eyebrows and said to everyone, "get a good horse for nothing is probably a bad omen veiled."

Wong Sai had a son who loved to ride a horse. One day his son climbed the beautiful horse territory Hu for a tour and made an accidental fall and broke a leg. Then the neighbours came Wong Sai comfort. They asked him not to take too much to heart. Curiously, Sai Wong said calmly to everyone, "the broken leg of my son could be a veiled blessing": His neighbors were all surprised by his answer and decided that Wong Sai should have lost the spirit of grief.

But shortly thereafter the people of Hui began a large-scale invasion against China. All young men had been called to join the army to defend their country. As people Hu was very strong, bold and skillful in combat, most of these young men were killed on the battlefield. But the son of Sai Wong survived the war thanks to his leg broken. Only then will the neighbouring Sai Wong discovered the wisdom hidden in his words.

The moral of the story is that many things in a person's life are predestined. While perhaps a blessing in disguise or a misfortune, which means that we can not merely superficially judging whether something is a misfortune or a blessing. We should let nature take its course without seeking the results. Try not to be complacent when everything goes well and not too discouraged and depressed when you're in trouble.
