Squidoo: many good reasons to use it and it's free!!

If you have something to promote and want to direct abundant traffic to your site(s), I would strongly suggest that you join Squidoo. Squidoo is extremely popular as a site and gets plenty of viewers.

Squidoo allows its users to build easily what is called a "lens" on virtually any subject. For example I use Squidoo to promote my books, cartoons and online shops:

http://www.squidoo.com/cheerfulmadness My online shop on Zazzle, featuring cute cartoon animals and characters on various products, all customizable.

http://www.squidoo.com/allthingslions My lens dedicated to lions, since they are my favourite animals and how they are featured in art, culture, folklore, myths, films, cartoons, comics, literature, etc.

As well as being free to use (Squidoo makes its money from advertising) , extremely efficient at getting a lot of trafic, Squidoo pays you to add content to their website: so the more content you add and  the more lenses you build, the better.

You can also add affiliate links and modules like Amazon and Ebay, to get extra money: you get paid when someone buys a book on Amazon via your lens, for example.

I have about 7 lenses on Squidoo myself and still building: using Squidoo has already made a huge difference in promoting what I do since I am an artist and, as I already said, it is free, fun and very easy to use. You really can't go wrong by giving it a go.
