Hi

The name is Gerard and I am an Internet Marketer and Global Networker from Malaysia for the past 11 years.

Now I am not claiming that I am a GURU or an expert of any kind in this field. Neither am I going to make any claims that I am a Millionaire working in this field. But what I do say is, I do make a decent income monthly, which is definitely much more than working for others and I do spend more time with my family and friends and doing the things that I wanted to do most.

Why am I here is basically to share with you. I am definitely not a creative writer, thats for sure! I just share to you as it is. No holds barred. I am sure, I will receive some criticisms or comments but it really doesn't matter at all. Life is a learning experience and we all certainally learn from mistakes. Yes I forgot to mentioned, I don't imply that I know everything as well.

Through out my years in network marketing, I have been involved in a lot of MLM opportunities from the health and wellness industries. It is a wonderful industry to be involved in and the though of being rewarded by the business through level bonuses was very tempting. I am a avid believer in network marketing until today.

I certainally did make money from it and I did earn my level bonuses from promoting the business. But there was another thing I also noticed. My team members dropped off one by one as time passes by. It is not that the business is not good. It has nothing to do with the products. And it has nothing to do with the compensation plan.

It is just this. My team members, 90% of them are not marketers and 90% of them never even make out a business budget for themselves.

They all joined hastily without planning ahead. The health and wellness business is definitely cheaper than setting up shop. But it  can be expensive to others, especially those who comes from below average income families.

The mlm of today starts from a minimum of $300 - $1000 for the first shipment order and monthly maintainence of $70 - $150 every month.  To survive the business your required to have a budget of $2000 - $3000 a year, assuming that its your first time in the business and have not being able to sponsor anyone for the first few months.

To survive in any business, you definitely must have capital. For without it, you can ended up dying out faster and loosing more money than you can afford to. Been There, Done That! So plan out your budget first before embarking. Its never too late. The longer you stay on the same business they better your chance of success.

Most people dropped out of the business when they came across difficulty in sponsoring new people after a few months and jumped on to another.

The fact remains that there is no such thing as a FAST MONEY MAKING SCHEME. In every business you have to build it. The longer you hold the business, the better it is for you. You will be creating an brand awareness and a association of the business to yourselves. That way, you are look as a person who is well versed in the business and your chances of getting in touch with the right prospects will be greater.

Always build your business market locally first. In many ways this can be faster, than embarking into a global arena. In your local market, the people there knows you better. When your business starts to grow on the local market, you then can embarked onto the global scene. Even in the global scene, your customers would definitely wants to know the person behind the computer. Its much harder to do business in a global market business than a local market. In a global market you also need to build credibility for yourself and an association of the business your doing. This also takes time. It took me a year doing a global market before I started seeing money coming in. If I had not established myself in the local market, I already had gone broke ... just imagine the expenses you have to bear on advertising alone.

To sum things out, when doing business whether big or small, treat it like a real thing. Plan ahead your budget and join a business that you can afford to spend and afford the few hours a week to build it. As time passes by, and with patience, you will definitely see your business grow and making money for you each and every month. Every thing has a starting point. So start on the right footing and start from the ground up, where you can afford to.
