Faith Based Health Care in the Church
Its been in the news, its been on the radio, its even been said in the church across the pulpit, and it crosses your mind from time to time. The news says about 75% of Americans are overwieght. That is staggering! In our churches, particularly in the Black church, it is said that over 85% are overweight. Being overweight is the root, a lot of times, for our health problems as we get older. Aching joints, high blood pressure, heart attacks, diabetes, and yes even cancer!
Personally, I get grumpy when the word "Diet" is used toward me. I become a whole different animal. So I have to trick myself and say changing my eating habits and move about more(polite term for exercise). I glad I found The Liberty Health Network.
Do you have a Health Ministry in your church? If not, prayer alone doesnt do it. Do you offer any help in the areas of health to your congregation, other than prayer and telling them to fast? Believe it or not, if you have a health ministry in your church, it will increase Spiritual, Financial, and Natural health and wealth in your church.
