Reality and Humanity.. Must read.
Entirely too long has humanity sought out to destroy that which he has created. Generations of war, famine, disease, and so much more.... yet.. What do we have to show for it? Countless homes are one or more persons smaller. It is we who created what we are today. It is we who will destroy that tomorrow. Power hungry nation leaders, behind thousand dollar desks. Picking and choosing where to strike next. Many people claim its terrorists that make this world so unbareable. I say it is everyone's fault.
Look at the moral values of the everyday working person now. So many have lost sight of their families. Many families torn and shattered into pieces all because of greed. Everyone worried how they are going to survive from day to day. People with more money then they know what they could do with spend thousands upon thousands on new carpet or drapes. When people starve to death everyday on our slowly rotting streets. Healthcare systems turning away patients, due to lack of funds and resources. People killing their fellow man everyday for anything from a large sum of money, to a few choice words that should have remained unsaid.
I may not be but 22 this year. But, out of the 22 years that I've breathed this air of pure and utter hatred. I've grown very sick to my stomache to witness what we as a whole have done to this once beautiful planet. Far too long have things which need to be spoken have remained unspoken. Far too many years have these things gone unrecognized and forgotten. How many years does it take for a society to rip itself apart?
Many years have I been taught of the world and my surroundings. I've listened to my friends and family over the years.... even strangers that I just met. Out of these years of living and breathing this existence, I've come to learn one thing....
The one true power that every human being is born with... is free will. The ability to choose to do, whatever it is you want to do. The thing is knowing right from wrong. Thing is, there is just too many people in this world that want something and can't have it.
Sooooo many people have claimed there is no such things as world peace, that it's impossible.... I've heard and learned from the day I was born. Nothing is impossible, just improbable. The problem is that the leaders have grown blind with greed. They desire more power and care nothing of those they have to hurt to get it. Sadly, it will never be a person with passion and compassion for his or her country. Always someone looking to sit in the hot seat and see how much trouble they can cause, or see how much money they can make.
I know a lot of people will tell me that world peace will never happen. Why? Because there are far too many people out there that would rather kill for power then settle for total well being of not only humanity, but for the world over. Think of the possibilities and the profitability from a world united. No longer would countries fight over resources, when they could barter with them. Humanity needs to work together to prolong our existance on this small spec in the universe. There are far more important things to worry about right now.
I don't know about anyone else. But the most important thing in my life, Is my fiancee and the little girl that she carries within her to be born june. Other then those two things. The only thing else that matters is family. Money means nothing when there isn't anything to spend it on.
To the world leaders out there. If you ever happen to read this. Stop and think a minute. What about the people who you swore you would protect? Sending them off to fight some meaningless war is what you would consider protecting them? Think about the families you destroy when you pick up arms. Better yet, ask your self this. Would I want my family to get the call saying I was killed in active duty?
Years have gone by, and each year our freedoms get smaller and smaller. Freedom of speech is almost completely gone. A man can't do hardly anything in this world now with out being smacked down by johnny law. I'm sure I'll get my share of problems from this document. But, so be it. I'd rather rott behind bars with world peace outside, then sleep outside where the stench of greed and hatred consume me. Years have come and gone, yet the rich still help themselves and never those around them. The richer get richer, and the poorer get poorer. Yet the government still does nothing. When they do, it's the little guys that get the penalties.
Take a look around people. Look at the news and the recent events. The crust on the planet is falling apart slowly. The planet is slowly dying and there is no stopping it. We had our chance to fix it back when the timing was early. But now, the damage has been done. When the time comes, what will your money do for you then?

And those are exact choices that you all decide to live with as focus on.. Again, I have not said that I agree with the war. I just don't focus on it, I could of made the choice to join the military. Maybe call me unpatriotic. I really don't care, it is just not my cup of tea. BUT being from a huge military background family....and a HUGE military environment (one of the Air Force's biggest military base is just miles away)...saying this is a meaningless war, they will correct you in a heart

Now before people try to say that i am misinformed. I do know that they TRIED to take us over. I understand that. But that still has no right to drop a bomb and killed innocent people.

That is the problem now a days. Our government has society's feared into doing things they are told. Example, we are told we have the freedom of speech. Yet, if you were to verbally bash a cop, you will be arrested. They say that is an exception of the law. I say it's bullshit. We aren't even allowed to cuss on TV. They say that these words bring damnation into hell. But how do they truly know that for a fact?
