My problems with APSense

Hi all APSensers (is that even a word?)!
I hope that the admins and developers of APSense read this blog entry, and that they won't take it personally as an insult, but try to improve APSense some more.
In general my first problem with APSense that many of its features are not straight and forward, not easy to understand for a newbie. See, someone who is new to this site might be put off easily because APSense is not easy to understand, I know that I was at first. Members, especially newbies like me, always have to browse around and find the help topics he/she is looking for. This can be extremely hard. I think that APSense should have question marks or something like that next to each feature. When a user doesn't know something he/she could simple click on the question mark next to the feature, and a little note could explain the feature. For example: I am a new member, and I would like to request new contacts, but I can't find anywhere I could do a member search; for example search or browse members according to country or geography, or other basic things like that. So it is very difficult to navigate around in APSense.
Another problem I have  with APSense is that the whole blogging and groups&discussions is very onesided. Don't get me wrong: There are many very good and useful articles here, but its all about business. What if someone wants to write about non-business issues, and why not have different categories for that, or more of them? For example: I am a Christian, what if I want to write about useful online websites for Christians, or a Bible study, in what category would I put that blog article?
One other thing: Why do I have to log in again if APSense was opened, but I didn't use if for a while. Even this article I had to do it twice because of that, and it happened to me more that once, that I lost what I wrote when I submited it, but then had to login again
I think I could really like APSense if it fixed these problems. Actually as I have read in one of the blog articles here, APSense has many inactive members. I think that a major reason for many new members now doing anything here are the above first two reasons, but especially the very first.

I hope that the APSense staff fixes thes problems, because I feel that it is really a hindrance to the growth of the website. What are your experiences and opinions about these issues? I welcome any comments here, good and bad, and critisism about this blog post, but please just be constructive.
