Business Marketing Tips in a Step by Step series - Step 1 "HOW" to do it.

Now there are many things to building a business that is a very important to know, skills you need to acquire before you can become successful. You might already be in a business opportunity, in a MLM company, or other retail business out there. Despite what you already have learned or haven't learned the most crucial element is of course understanding how to build your business.

And although I cannot tell you exactly how to build your business. Since I don't know what business you are in, what knowledge you have at the moment. What you have gone through and so on, I will share with you the steps I took on understanding how to build and grow my business.

Part one:
the first thing you need to realize is that the most important thing is learning how to do your business.  You may have been taught how to put your why, or reasons for wanting to build your business down on paper.

If you are into MLM, you probably have been taught to create a list of 100 names, the 3 foot rule, cold calling, bying leads and so on.

I have done all of this and have absolutely no results to show for it. I have always been puzzled that in the age of computers and Internet.  The number one thing that my upline wanted to teach me was to make a list of a hundred names, the 3 foot rule. And the question I asked myself was, with all the latest technology we have.  Why haven't a new way emerged that it's better and more efficient working"from home" then going outside, talking to total strangers in what is advertised to be a work from home opportunity anyway.

So I started educating myself on the topic of online marketing.  Regardless of how you go about growing your business REALISE THIS.

Marketing comes into the equation, regardless if you do it or not.

This is the number one thing that many people that wants to grow their business don't know about.  Why?  Because they're upline didn't tell them.  They were given the same set of advice that I have already mentioned.

Sure some people have become very successful doing it that way but to me it just sound like a lot of hard work that has a very low success rate, and that is also my experience doing it years.

Realizing this, is really the very first step on learning how to grow your business, because if you don't know that there is another way out there. You're probably doomed to make the same mistakes over and over again until you either succeed somehow or quit.

Part two:
So, how will I start growing my business, the smart way?

Excellent question, it starts with education, and what type of education do I mean?

Getting education on the topic that holds you back from succeeding in your business is quite logical.  It might be that you are in need of more traffic to your website.

In that case, get education on how to drive traffic to your website.

Is your problem that you don't get enough leads for your MLM opportunity?

Create a lead generating system, and how do you create one of those?

Find education on the topic.

Understand this, there are in fact how to guides on how to create a website, how to make a meal, you can drive so technically advanced things as a car, aircraft or a submarine.

So of course there is education that covers the questions that I just raised or on the topic that you have problem with. So, I realized that educating myself was crucial for success. This is one of the major foundations that you'r future business build upon.



After all, you're probably spent quite a few years in school, learning how to do a job properly or, you got a new job and you got taughton how to do that job.  The same saying goes for building a business.  And how to build a business while you combine your education with experience,and the type of result you get is depending on your education and experience up until that point. Having no education or experience is obviously a receipy for not succeeding.

While I learnt through my my years off failing in the MLM industry was that I acquired knowledge and experience.  Eventually I got to the point where my combined knowledge and experience became valuable to others and people started to follow me, all due to my education and experience and me sharing what I know.


Part three:
So, How to Grow Your Business?
Realize that if you never educate yourself.  You don't build personal value on topics that hold you back, and other topics related to your industry depending on you'r experience, lack of success or bad results.  

So in order to grow your business invest time and effort in educating yourself on topics that are useful and beneficial to your business. And share this with other people freely then people will start to follow you.

If you do this and invest the time and effort in educating yourself and using what you have learned to grow your business.  You will not only gain knowledge but also experienced and start to develop the skill sets that eventually will make you succesfull.

To sum it up:
Take responsibility for your future success by starting to educate yourself on relevant topics related to your business is a very good way to go on a long term.  If you have yet to see success, banging your head against a wall with no success, no sucess banging you'r head against the wall over and over again is the definition of insanity and should of course be avoided.  Don't take that remark personally, I have been there and got the T-shirt to prove it.It took quite awhile before I stoped and listen to my brain that was shouting to me "stop and think about this" It is crazy it ain't working!

You now realize that education on how to grow your business is really what will make your business successful. That is only true if you follow it through to the end and doesn't give up.  How do you stay in for the long haul?  That is what Step Two is all about, "finding your why".
