New Gadget (Widget)

by Theresa
Found this cute little doodad that will enable a person to add some cool you tube vids to your website or blog, but I can't seem to get the darn thing to work. It is from Adsense and YouTube and should be a really cool tool to use.

So, I am trying it here in the hopes that someone has used this before:

Hmmm, works here. .... ok back to the drawing board.

Hi Fishie,
I use it most of my blogs, (WP though, not Joomla) Should be able to paste the code into either the end of your header.php file or the beginning of your footer.php. Or, better yet would be to embed it directly into the post (it is set up to use your keywords to pull the content). Just remember to set the align value to what you want, - left, right or center.

Try enclosing it in a

<p align="center">"video code here"</p>

wrapper.

Thanks sweets, but it isn't working on my WP either :(

How did you do it? Did you use the vodpod thing?

Is it VodPod.com?

Depending on the type of HTML editor you blogs use, you may have to add a tag, such as MKWeb described above....

I love playing with this stuff! :)

Depending on the space of your blog post, you may need to align the video on the left not center.
