You Are

I love your laughter, I love your tears
I love the way you care
I love the mystical light in your eyes,
I love the things we share.
Giving, taking, wanting, needing you there,
in my arms, in my heart
You have a special place there
just for you, set apart.
You are the sunlight,
you are the darkness
You are the world inside of me
You are the words,
you are the songs
You are the dreams I want to see.
I know I can go on living I can go on giving.
There will always be choices you make and chances you take.
And unless you close that door
I will keep giving you reasons for
why I love you more
every second of my day
and giving you more reasons to stay.
I cant absolutely promise you
I wont hurt you in the end.
I just know right now,
you are my world my life,
my love and my best friend.
