Coins are a great gift idea this holiday season. You can get coins from the U.S. and internationally. Maybe someone likes a particular country or that country coins design. There are commemorative coins for a special event that has taken place. That person your buying for might hold the event as something special and it would be a piece from it. Like the Olympics or the Super Bowl or the world trade center. The coins are made from precious metals. That someone might like silver or gold. You may want to show them how valuable they are by investing in a platinum or other precious metal coin. Coins can also teach a child the value of money and be a way of saving.
